Our PCV Oil Catch Can is designed to effectively separate oil from the crankcase vapors, thereby eliminating all negative effects of excessive intake system oil contamination. Our Catch Can has been engineered to remove the oil vapor before it has a chance to contaminate your intake system.
Not all Catch Cans are created equally! Often Imitated, never duplicated. Most Catch Cans on the market are just comprised of an empty container with 2 ports. While that simple design may trap a few oil droplets, our Catch Can is designed to condense the oil vapor and trap the oil inside the container.
Our test proven design incorporates a stainless steel mesh and screening mechanism that acts like a maze to collect and condense the oil vapor. Once the oil vapors condense into liquid droplets, it falls to the bottom of the can. In addition, the top assembly is specially designed to keep any liquid from climbing out the exit hole during aggressive driving conditions. Stored oil volume is approximately 8 ounces. Our PCV Oil Catch Can is constructed of the finest materials inside and out. High performance car owners insist on the best products that offer unsurpassed function as well as impressive visual enhancement. Our Catch Can does both! Our exclusive design incorporates optimum function and the finest materials, construction and finish for maximum dependability.
The 2.6" diameter by 6.0" long body is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and then anodized in a variety of colors for a striking look. The internal condensing screen is stainless steel encased inside an aluminum alloy housing designed for low flow restriction. The housing can be disassembled for screen inspection, cleaning or replacement if needed. The inlet and outlet hose fittings are brass, and threaded into the body and sealed with Teflon tape. Supplied hoses are fuel and oil vapor compatible (SAE 30R7 rated). The bottom catch can reservoir screws onto the top of the unit, and is sealed with a built in O-ring. Inspection and cleaning is easy by simply removing the bottom of the unit without disturbing the mounting system or hoses.

In keeping with our high quality standards, all supplied mounting hardware and screws are stainless steel. The supplied custom machined mounting bracket is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, and is attached to the passenger side engine head on an LS2 application with (1) one 10 mm bolt and special aluminum standoff.
Each Catch Can kit includes everything you need to install the system. Basic mechanical skills and common hand tools are the only things equired.

· Catch Can assembly beautifully anodized in choice of available colors, complete with 3/8" barbed inlet/outlet hose fittings.
· Custom machined mounting bracket with aluminum spacer and bolt for LS2 application. Spacer is required on LS3 engines to allow clearance for Fuel Rail Covers
· Stainless steel mounting hardware.
· 24 inches of 3/8" ID fuel and oil vapor compatible hose.
· PCV adaptor hardware.
· Black zinc plated hose clamps.

The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system is designed to regulate and remove fumes from the engine crankcase, and to alleviate crankcase pressure which could cause oil leaks or seal damage. The PCV system routes crankcase fumes into the intake manifold where they can be burned to eliminate harmful emissions into the atmosphere. The PCV valve controls the amount of crankcase flow volume depending on the engine's load. With large throttle openings (high engine loads), the more blow-by gases are produced, and the more the PCV system flows oil vapor in to the intake manifold. The PCV valve also functions as a check valve to prevent intake manifold flow from reversing back into the crankcase when there is a backfire, or during periods of high manifold pressure (boost) during forced induction by turbocharger or supercharger.

Many Corvette, Camaro, Firebird and GTO owners with LSX engines can testify to the amount of oil residue that can accumulate inside the intake manifold, throttle body, intake track and even the air filter during aggressive driving conditions.

· Throttle body and/or MAFS (Mass Air Flow Sensor) malfunction or failure.
· Air filter, intercooler (if equipped) and intake ducting contamination if oil pools and run back out the intake system after engine shutdown.
· Reduced octane of the air/fuel mixture, which can cause detonation and the ECM (Engine Control Module) to retard timing, thereby reducing engine power.
·Excessive carbon build-up on valves, piston crowns, combustion chambers and spark plugs. This also increases the chance of detonation and power loss. ·Increased emissions & possible contamination of catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All international orders must be prepaid before shipment can be sent. Due to the constant fluctuation of currency rates and depending on the items being ordered, your freight fees will vary. It is important that you contact West Coast Corvette for shipping quotes. Shipments outside of the Continental US may incur customs fees, Duties, or Taxes depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. Per regulated shipping rules, the customer is responsible for these fees. Any fees associated with customs are to be paid by the customer as West Coast Corvette has no way of calculating these fees.

CORE CHARGES
Our exchange program is very simple and allows you to receive chrome plated wheels or powder coated calipers without unnecessary down time to your vehicle. We first send you a set of our high quality chrome plated GM wheels or powder coated calipers to have installed. The best way to purchase is with a credit card. We initially charge you for the Chrome Plating
(wheels) or powder coating (calipers) plus a refundable core charge.
You must return your undamaged cores within ten (10) days, we then issue you a full core credit within ten (10) days of receiving the product. Cores returned late (after the 10-day period) will be charged a $30.00 (per day) late fee. There will be a $100.00 stripping fee on painted caliper cores. To insure the highest quality available we only exchange GM products and they must be for the same style and year. Any damages will be deducted from the core refund. You may contact WCC for return shipping assistance.

WARRANTIES
All items are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment to you. Your purchase will be backed by the limited warranty extended by the manufacturer of the parts. West Coast Corvettes and the manufacturer will not honor warranty requests due to shipping damage, improper handling or installation, neglect, accidents, or competition use. Warranty claims apply to parts only. All Chrome Exchange wheels come with a 3-Year Written Warranty. Our 1-piece reproduction wheels come with a “Lifetime Limited” structure and a 2 year chrome warranty. All wheels should be checked for trueness or run-out before installation, in case shipping damage has occurred. All wheels should be test fit before installation to assure proper clearance of brake rotor, brake caliper, inner and out fender and brake cooling duct. Complete warranty will accompany wheel shipments. WCC does not directly warrant any high performance part or labor. Performance parts are installed at the customers risk and any warranty claim must be taken up with the manufactures. Performance parts may or may not meet individual state emission laws. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine the emission standards and laws of his or her area. WCC does not cover labor on any warranty claim. All WCC Forged Wheels are designed for street use only. Warranty is void if used for racing.

OVERSIZED ITEMS
All items that are considered “oversized” are items that are billed from the carrier at an oversized rate, indicating a minimum of a 30lb. package. Oversized items have an additional fee to cover these high shipping costs, even when a "free shipping" promotion is in effect.

DAMAGE/DEFECTIVE CLAIMS
Always check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the person delivering the merchandise. Should any damage be present, immediately notify WCC so that all the necessary steps be taken to insure prompt replacement of any goods. Notify West Coast Corvette’s Customer Service Department for instructions on returning damaged or defective goods before sending the item back. West Coast Corvette is not responsible for any claims arising from damage notification given after three (3) days of receipt of delivery. *Damage claims may not be submitted after the part is installed.* Once the item is installed, West Coast Corvette is not liable for damages or imperfections.

SHORTAGES
Always check the contents of your delivery to ensure that all the parts ordered are received. If you are missing any items please check to see if they have been back ordered on the invoice before calling the Customer Service Department. If a shortage has occurred, please contact our Customer Service Department within three (3) days of delivery to insure a prompt replacement. West Coast Corvette assumes no liability after this point.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
We accept Cashier’s Checks and Money Orders made payable to West Coast Corvettes. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. All personal checks are subject to a 10 day hold. For your protection, we do not accept cash through the mail. Credit card orders can only be shipped to the billing address listed with the bank that issued the credit card. C.O.D. orders add $ 13.00 CA residents, add 8.00% sales tax. Call for Wire Transfer information.

C.O.D. ORDERS
Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders will be accepted for C.O.D. orders. If a C.O.D. order is refused, any future order would need to be paid in advance of shipment with a Cashier’s Check or Money Order.

SALES TAX
All orders outside California are exempt from sales tax. California residents are required to add the appropriate sales tax to all orders. Rates are subject to change without notice. The current rate is 7.75%.
